About meHi, my name is Sam Enthoven, I write fantastical action thrillers for young people. For ten years I worked as a part-time bookseller here in London (UK), living largely on a diet of instant noodles and parsnips while chasing my dream to become a published author. In September '06 my dream came true when my debut novel THE BLACK TATTOO hit bookshops at last. And now my second book TIM, DEFENDER OF THE EARTH is out - or, as I modestly call it, Phase Two of my sinister masterplan to conquer the universe! BWAH-HAA! BWAH-HA-HA-HAAA-er, ahem! Sorry, I'm rather excited. Check out www.theblacktattoo.com, for details of Black Tat, and www.timdefenderoftheearth.com for info on Tim. Now: enough plugging already, on with the books!

About my libraryThis list only includes books I like. The occasional star-ratings just indicate I've written a review: essentially, if a book is on this list then that means I think it's terrific. Happy reading! Very best wishes to you -Sam

That would be awesome! You can deffo do it! But if you don't have a US publisher for it then how the H-E-Double hockey stick am i supposed to read it? :) Eh, I have friends over there that could HOPEFULLY snag me a copy. I am in one of my stages where I am reading alot, so I got to keep that up. I know that the story you're working on will be awesome. Your writing is interesting to me. It's also awesome because you still have the talk in your books from there. I have had to ask my friend from there a couple times what a couple of the words are. I thought that was funny. But it makes you hear an accent when you're reading. I love it! Your view of sequels is also rad because it's nice having an author that thinks that, that is just way too much explaining (I think that how you said it, kind of). Well, I will stop rambling on, because i could write forever about your view, and pick your brain. Also, thank you for being so kind and spending time to write back to me i apprieciate it!
That's perfectly fine. I was just thinking about getting it published and thought it would be awesome to get an author to read it. I just looked at it as an opportunity. No worries though. It's not like that offends me, I take you as being a really nice guy. But another question i had was, do you only have two books? Because two is all i have heard of.
thats awesome! i have thought about getting into writing i love to make up stories but i don't like writing alot. thats my problem right there. i like to keep it short and simple in a poem with meaningful words. i don't think i could pull off being a writer when my inspiration is really into lighting design
Hi Sam - hope TIM is conquering all!
Congrats! And I'll look at it. Yeah, I can't speak French at all, but I try. My friends always make fun of my French. But i don't really care.
How are you Sam?
I may have squeaked out loud with pure joy when I realised where you had put the gates to hell - in fact, I may have done so while reading it on the tube *cough*. Thank you for a fabulous read.
Be sneaky Sam! Be sneaky. lol
Oh! Hi, you're actually on right now!

Pixie =.=
Oh, okay. I didn't know that. And thank you.

Pixie =.=
Congratulations on Black Tat, Sam! Black Tat was-sorry, i mean, is-a really good book. I wish you the best of luck on the book. Did you find a title for the book yet? I finished one of the books I'm writing. It's called Where The Killers Roam. Do you want to read some of it?

Pixie *o*
Hi Sam! How are you? How's your book going? Can you believe that I'm still waiting for your TIM to arrive? It's unreal. I'm at school right now, so I can talk for long. But I just wanted to say hi.

Pixie XD
Thanks Sam! I looked at the site and i didn't really have enough time because I'm at school right now. But when I get home, I'll look at the reast of the site. The pictures are really interesting and awkward. But cool. Now I just have to wait for 3 more people b4 I can read your other book. :)I cant wait. Good luck on your new book and I'll work on mine! L8er!

Pixie :)
I want to be the first one to read your next book! It sounds weird but very interesting. By the way, you can call me Mari. Or Maria, whichever you prefer. There's a seriously long line waiting for TIM so I have to wait. :( I'm writing a new story! It's called Where the Killers Roam. I'm already up to 40 pages. My friends and my English teacher said that they were blown away. It's pretty cool. I just got finished writing my trilogy. The first one is called Kill Me Softly. The second one is called Awaken Me Darkly and the last one is called Kiss Me Sweetly. Write back soon.

Pixie
Hi! I haven't talked to you in a really long time. How was ur New Year's Day? And how was ur Xmas? I have the book Tim, Defender of the Earth on hold at my library, so I'll be reading it really soon!

Pixie XD
Thank you for connecting with me :) I LOVE LibraryThing! I am slowly catologuing my personal library here. I just got your book, The Black Tattoo, and can hardly wait to read it. I'll pick up the second one as soon as I can. I am so excited to be here.

good reading,
sevedra
Yay! I'll definitely check it out when I can. Thanks.

Pixie
Ok, yeah, I'll totally check out The Graveyard and Storm Front. Those actually sound pretty interesting right now. All the books I'm reading right now are pretty cruddy (no offense to the authors). Hopefully, I'll be able to find those books at my school library. If not, I'll just go to the public library. What was the last book you published?

Pixie
Hi, I haven't heard from you in a while. What are you reading now?

Pixie
I know. LT can just suck you in. First you come just to check on your current forum and your catalog and the next thing you know, you've been on the computer for hours. I do that a lot with books too. See, I'm a prolific reader(a very prolific reader-I can not go to the store without tagging along a book) and every time I want to just read a few chapters, I end up devouring the whole book in one sitting. I haven't been able to sleep lately because I've been reading about three books up to four in the morning. I love books. Hopefully the brilliance of each book I read will rub off on me when I get a serious job as an author. I love to write horror stories already but hopefully I'll get them published and have them recieve good reviews like your Black Tat did. Your book really is a significant inspiration to me. Keep writing more books so I can read them, please. But have fun reading your own fun books too. :)
I took a quick glance at your library just now and I was wondering what your intake on The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud?
Hi Sam! It's Jaq. heh

I forget that not everyone knows this user name [I have it for most things]. It was fab to see you on Wednesday and everyone was delighted with your enthusiasm and friendliness. Not that i woulod expect anything else, mind you! Hope Leicester was fun. :)
The Black Tattoo was a really great book, a fantastic thriller novel for young adults. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I'm glad the world has finally invented a place like this. Not only does it help bring together people with similar literary interests, it also lets readers (occasionally) connect with authors, such as you.

Just wanted to give you my undying praise.

Thanks.
yeh!
i can't believe how useful this is going to be to us.
