Hi

While trying to enlarge the article about Gabrielsen I found your request for the book, its name and ISBN is as follows:

Bare en kom tilbake, Gyldendal Norsk forlag, 1973, ISBN 82-05-06065-7

and the author was Øystein Molstad-Andresen. There is also a very short article on the Norwegian language version of Wikipedia:

http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stein_Gabri...

-which I will try to enlarge. I would also try to find a picture of him, preferably when he was rescued, do you have any idea where any such picture could be found? Guess the US Airforce may have it, if you have any information about that it would be highly appreciated.

I am only a amatuer, I have researched my family since 1992 days. Most of my research is in Watauga,Caldwell, Ashe and Wilkes Counties NC and Johnson Co and Carter Co. TN.

I love to research but my time is so limited that I am not able to dedicate the time. Are you in NC? I am in Hickory, NC.
Thanks for leaving me a message, it's nice to meet you Rick and that we have some things in common. No I have not read the books you asked about but they sound good; I'll check into them. Thanks. Enjoy reading Mayflower, I really liked it.
Hi Rick:

Hope you're doing well. Still visiting NC or back home?

karenmarie

Hey Rick:

Today's about 89 or so... not awful. And the humidity isn't so bad either. I was out in the vegetable garden yesterday, but today I spent about an hour or so cleaning the fish tank, changing out 10 gallons, putting in new fake plants, etc. Now I'm all wet and tired!

My daughter has been away at camp for 3 weeks and I miss her. Admittedly the house is cleaner and her laundry is finally done, but I'd rather have her here than there. We pick her up on Friday the 17th. Then she has 2 weeks of summer before starting half days of band camp then school. The summer has barely officially started, but she'll be back in school on August 25th.

I'm looking out the window at one of our gorgeous crepe myrtles, which has deep pink flowers. We had a very wet spring although it's beginning to get dry now. I've had to start watering the vegetable garden.

Made sweet pickles the other day and dill pickles yesterday with the overabundance of cucumbers. Fun if tiring.

Lots of good reading, too.

Take care,
karenmarie
Hey owlmoon:

I was thinking about you this morning, wondering how you were doing. You've got a new picture since I last checked in. What's its significance?

And the last time you left me a message, you were in Tennessee. Still there? Back at your daughter's? Your location says Oklahoma, but I don't remember if it said that last time or not. Isn't that where your daughter lives?

Hope you're doing well -
karenmarie
