Pam, I noted that we share 26 books we have both read. I was wondering if you had any books you especially liked that are not on our mutual lists-ones I haven't read? Here is a link to our book club site where you can see books we have read, see reviews if we wrote any, and find nice restaurants we have attended for book club meetings!
I am still trying to read and not succumb to glasses. I wonder what will happen to my reading if I am required to use glasses to see the print. I hadn't even thought about audio books on a regular basis but I do enjoy them when I get them in that form. I like many of the authors you like as well. I like Irving, Roth, Steinbeck, and Chabon.
Noticed you liked She's Come Undone, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed young girl's downward spiral and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:
