About meThe curse of literacy is lots of time to read.
I have mostly stopped reading fiction. I've cataloged my nonfiction, hoping to discover others with similar interests so that I might find people to discuss high level ideas with.
About my libraryI am a full-time independent AI researcher. I believe that intelligence emerges from a continuous competition among micro-intuitions. See books I have labeled "selectionism".
The books I label "GOFAI" are written from the majority view standpoint: Intelligence can be built on a foundation of logic. But in light of my beliefs, most of these books start from the wrong premises and are therefore not worth reading.
