About meI am currently working in a University Library whilst studying for an MSc in Library and Information Studies by distance learning.

I have several hobbies, including Medieval Re-enactment, knitting, cross stich, yoga and reading (of course).

About my libraryMy library is changing, as I have come to the horrible realisation that to have the things I want in my library, I am going to have to weed out some of the things that I am belatedly, grudgingly admitting I don't want.

My main collecting interests are Early Medieval History, Cookery, Knitting, Yoga, Sciene Fiction and Fantasy, Historical Murder Mysteries, Gardening and Library and Information Science, but that list is not exhaustive.

Hazel,
Just got a message from LibraryThing.com letting me know that you placed me on your friend list. Thank You :>))) I am thinking that perhaps LibraryThing is a bit behind since we did post to each other earlier.
Good to get the post regardless ! Haven't had much time to post at Palimp site this summer. Very busy for some reason. I am very fortunate in that I am able to be retired but seems that there is always something to do. I think I am busier now than when I worked. Baby sitting grandchildren, tending to elderly aunts, increasing the size of my multiple flowerbeds, keeping up with my face2face book groups and of course reading, has kept me pretty much on the go.
Hope you are well. I look forward to the slower days of winter when I can visit the Palimp site more often.

Have you posted to any of the talk groups associated with this site ?

Take care Hazel.........so good to hear from you :>)

Maggie (Jeannie)
Hey! :)

I have a butterfly mind, I'm afraid - no rhyme or reason! :}
One more comment. I see you have a few of Teresa Wentzler's cross stitch patterns. I have stitched a couple of her things. I did the castle and the dragon. My son still has it in his room. I also did one on black linen.......it was a unicorn in a garden. I LOVE her stuff. The colors are so beautiful. I did a lot of cross stitching in the past. Since having eye surgery I haven't done much. I miss it !
Hazel,
I found you :>)) It's Maggie/Jeannie. I am going to take the liberty of putting you on my "friends" list. Is this O.K. ?
This is a fun site.........I don't get many messages but every once in a while I will get a message from another member.
I am off to "look" at your library. What fun !
