About meI have a BS in English Linguistics, which equals crap.
For now, I work part-time selling books. I wish it were more, but then they'd have to pay me for my time, so we are currently at an impasse.
I live with a dog and a husband. We take trips to see museums and musical acts. The dog stays with the in-laws.

About my libraryIt's a pain in the ass to move.

Hey! We're friends now.
I bought it as a remainder, but have yet to read it :
"Reading is for losers!"
I guess we're losers...but at least we're losers together...
Another book junkie! Within limits, starvation is one, I would choose books over food. I'm only kidding a little.

I WISH I had discovered Bookmooch before the last three moves.
There's a form for library patrons to request that a book be bought, so I plan to fill out one on my next visit. My daughter (also named Eliza) is a big picture book fan.

The combining trick is to enter the book in your library with the ISBN of one work, make sure they're combined, then edit your entry to the ISBN of the other work (or author if the stranded work doesn't have an ISBN), and combine again.

Happy reading!
Just saw your comment re: Never Tease a Weasel. I think I have it fixed--what is it about this book, anyway? It was my favorite as a kid, but my parents sold my copy at a garage sale when I was home. I was 15 at the time, and ticked off as anything. My current copy is an eBay find.
Eliza,
My copy of Shaggy Man of Oz was published in 1990 by the "Special Publications Program" of the International Wizard of Oz Club. I'm not sure if it's still available through them. I did a quick search at abe.com, and found a bunch of Books of Wonder paperbacks (I'm guessing they're trade paperbacks) in the $20-30 range, one hardcover copy of same for $38, and then the first editions starting at $60 and going over the rainbow. But abe.com didn't list any of the IWoOC reprints.

I remember really liking Shaggy Man of Oz. It's much more serious than the Thompson books. It was more like the Baum books except lacking Baum's whimsey. I've not read Magical Mimics in Oz, so I can't comment on that.

Good luck with your search!

Steve
Hi Eliza! Yes, I know my library is HUGE -- partially a result of working at the home office and constantly being around free books. It's made my collection get out of control!

BTW, I love your userpic -- very artsy!

I like books and I like you.
I heard you like books. I like books too. Books = Good.
