Som du säkert väntade dig kan jag inte tänka mig att skiljas från mitt ex av Het hud, svensk poesi är en av de saker jag brinner mest för. Framförallt för att det är en subkultur som sällan störs av stora finansiella aktörer, eftersom det ändå inte finns några större pengar att tjäna på poesi. Det är alltså konst för konstens egen skull, precis som jag vill att det ska vara.
Hallbeck gav ut sin bok genom Författares bokmaskin, vilket betyder att han gjorde det mesta jobbet själv (eller hans vänner). Men han hade trots det ändå en del ambitioner med sin bok eftersom han skickade recensionsex till tidningar. (Det vet jag eftersom min bok kommer från en recensents samling.) Därför borde det inte vara helt omöjligt att hitta ett exemplar, andrahandsmarknaden för poesi är ju inte så jättestor.
Får jag tag på ett ex till får du ett nytt meddelande från mig!

Regarding a Swedish connection, one of my grandmothers did happen to be Swedish, although she had adopted Norwegian when she married my grandfather. (People of my grandparents' generation were all bilingual; when they were growing up, only about a third of the population in this part of the country spoke English as their native language). I taught myself to read in Swedish primarily because I'm just interested in languages in general. You'll notice I have books in this collection representing most of the western European languages.
