About meI will be transitioning from a high school library to an elementary library this year, a move that I am very excited about.

About my libraryThis library is a record of books I've read since January 2007.

I've always loved Fragonard's Girl Reading. I found the above image at http://www.allposters.com/-sp/-Posters_i126220_.htm

Noticed you liked The Glass Castle, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a dysfunctional family and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to learn a little more about the book before you commit:

Hi, PAB, thanks for the kind note about my books. That's one thing that surprised me--that despite the fact that my books are long, they seem to appeal to reluctant readers. I've heard from quite a few. All I can say is that when I was writing them, I kept hearing my two teenage sons whispering in my ear, "Pacing, Mom! Don't let us put it down."

I have a new series launching in the fall; the first book is called The Demon King. Hope it will speak to your teens as well!

Best, Cinda Williams Chima
