About meI am an avid reader, early fifties, work in the financial industry in northern N.J. Reading is one of my greatest joys, as I am a firm believer that knowledge is its own reward as well as the surest route to total self-realization. Few things give me more pleasure than working my way through several books while relaxing on my sun-drenched deck in the summer or in front of a roaring fireplace on a cold winter evening.

About my libraryReally a mixed bag, with particular emphasis on American and European history (political, intellectual, social and military/diplomatic), rural and Western Americana, ancient and modern philosophy, several classics, a smattering of religion, a few essays, a bit of poetry and some elementary scientific works. My interests vary from year to year and my library reflects that.
