Just the writing mostly. It's an interesting book, but didn't tell me anything new about the Count of Caglistoro. If you know a bit about the count, I wouldn't suggest buying it. If you know nothing, and want one book that has a lot in it (and don't mind bad writing, or the fact that the book is halted every time a minor character comes into play to give a thorough background of every single one of them, not matter how small) then buy it.
Clearly The Last Alchemist didn't go over well with you. As I was interested in reading it, I wondered why. I'd hate to waste time if it's seriously flawed.
