About meI've been a writer for most of my life, made a good living as a copywriter, creative director, then principal owner of an ad agency, and now I'm Director of Advertising for a company whose brand image I created 23 years ago…W.B. Mason (Who But W.B. Mason!). Last year I published my first novel, "Or So It Seems", the result of 12 years hard work and periodic bursts of inspiration. My publishing imprint is Blind Elephant Press. You can read about me or my book on two web sites: PaulStevenStone.com or OrSoItSeems.info. I also host a blog at OrSoItSeemsStone.blogspot.com. I'm happily married with three adult children. I'm an avid reader with a predilection for well-written mysteries and thrillers that don't rely on excessive violence to propel their narratives. Big news: this year, in April, I've published my second book, "How To Train A Rock", a collection of 'short insights and fiction flights'. Watch for it on Library Thing!

Places we love exist only through us,
Space destroyed is only illusion in the constancy of time,
Places we love we can never leave,
Places we love together, together, together,
And is this room really a room, or an embrace,
And what is beneath the window: a street or years?
And the window is only the imprint left by
The first rain we understood, returning endlessly,
And this wall does not define the room, but perhaps the night
Your son began to move in your sleeping blood,
A son like a butterfly of flame in your hall of mirrors,
The night you were frightened by your own light,
And this door leads into any afternoon
Which outlives it, forever peopled
With your casual movements, as you stepped,
Like fire into copper, into my only memory;
When you go, space closes over like water behind you,
Do not look back: there is nothing outside you,
Space is only time visible in a different way,
Places we love we can never leave.

Thank you so much for the autographed copy of your book How to Train a Rock and the bookmark of Or So It Seems, as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and have now posted my review here on LT, as well as on Amazon.com, Goodreads and my blogspot.
Sincerely,

Thanks for the books. Sorry the check was so late. Procrastination is not my friend. Can't wait to read HtTaR. Keep writing!
