About meI was born in Tennessee, raised in North Carolina, and now live in Virginia. I am a former teacher and am currently in sales. I am happily married and have two sons. I enjoy travel and sports. I am active in my church with children's and drama ministries. Oh, and I love a good used book sale!

About my libraryI enjoy books of all types. For the last several years- and due to a missions trip to Kenya and the required reading that went along with it- I have been particularly drawn to missionary stories. At bookstores and booksales, I have a tendency to pick up books on religion, history, travel, sports, and business.

Currently very interested in Kenya and I have a library planting project in one of the primary schools there. What have you read on Kenya and what could you recommend? I will be going there to train teacher/librarians in the near future and really want to know more. What where your experiences?
