About me I'm a 30-something married woman with a Bachelor's degree in History. I work in Corrections. (If you're a fellow history major, you shouldn't be surprised). We have no children but five cats, although children are potentially in our future. We've lived in Montana for the last ten years, but we are hoping to move closer to our home state of California within the next few years to be closer to family (although we'd be happy not living in California again!).
I've been a member of the SCA for over nine years, known therein as Athenais Bryennissa, a sometime herald. I hope to get back to that hobby soon, as I miss it.
About my library The library consists of probably 95% my books; although the husband does have a fair number of his own, he's neither a voracious reader nor obssessive buyer of books in the same way that I am. He hoards his toys the way that I hoard my books, and what's represented here so far is only a fraction of the total. Sadly, a large portion of our novels were lost some years ago in a move, but we seem to have the majority of our hardbacks, gaming books, and of course all of my textbooks and heraldry books. Many of them are in storage, so they may not appear for some time... but they will eventually be here!
