About meI am fascinated by ideas. I am delighted when I discover beneath the complex surface an elegantly simple concept to explain why things are the way they are. My mind is always looking for connections, and so I am intrigued when seemingly disparate phenomena can be linked by an obscure connection. I revel in taking the world we all know and turning it around so we can view it from a strange but strangely enlightening angle. I love all these ideas because they are profound, because they are novel, because they are clarifying, because they are contrary, because they are bizarre. For all these reasons I derive a jolt of energy whenever a new idea occurs to me. Others may label me creative or original or conceptual or even smart. Perhaps I am all of these. Who can be sure? What I am sure of is that ideas are thrilling. And on most days this is enough.

CoconutCow was the name of my mobile store when I sold at art festivals, flea markets and from home. It was supposed to capture where I'm from: land of palm trees and cattle. It's silly. Yeah, I like the pic of Sable and me too. Yours is interesting...seems like a whole play could be written with those characters. Who would be the wizard: Karl Rove?

Thanks for this recommendation. I've begun my library with the books that were in the kitchen or came to my mind quickly. My user name is: CoconutCow. Pretty cool.

Thanks! I know there are a lot of people who consider it (Mrs. Dalloway) a masterpiece, and they're obviously seeing something I'm not. Different strokes for different folks, as the song goes.
