About me I'm a doctoral student in philosophy of education. I anxiously await a version of LibraryThing that will help me deal with all my CDs and LPs.

About my library Things will be in a bit of a hiatus here. I'm in a process of boxing up some books, culling others, and preparing to move. When I reach the "other side" and am ready for long-term unboxing, I'll update things here.

Carlie, the cat in the picture, passed away November 2007. (Younger than she should have, from what seemed to be a heart defect.) I'll remember her tip-toeing through the political theory texts...

Hi peripatetic, I was curious to see who else had Ronnie Beiner's book "What's The Matter With Liberalism". I was surprised tos ee we have a few books in common. Cheers, Candy. http://gnosticminx.blogspot.com/
I've maxed out my free account, and haven't gotten around to upgrading.
I came to see who had the other copy of Rückschau Und Fortschritt and proceeded to enjoy looking at your library. Quite different from mine yet with some intriguing similarities.
While it's not as nice a solution as LT, try rateyourmusic.com for cataloging your music. (To be fair, music isn't as easy to catalog as books, though RYM could still be better. But RYM allows you to export your data in comma-delimited format, as LT does, so importing into a better system when one is available is a possibility.)
