About meI was born a bibliophile. My greatest joy when I was a kid was going to the library. It was one house away from mine. I think I read everything in the juvenile section by the time I was nine. I had to beg the librarians to let me into the young adult section and the adult reference section. Now that I am all grown up I can have my very own library in my house. It's a good thing I married someone who likes books too. It is also helpful that he likes to build things, like bookcases. ;-)
About my libraryWell I have a long way to go before I catalog my whole library. right now I am concentrating on my Illumination collection and other SCA type books. Just before Pennsic I let go of half of my psychology books to Rhiannon who plans to be a therapist.
Then there are the boxes of sci-fi and fantasy out in the garage that haven't been unpacked since we moved in 10 years ago. There are lots of old friends hiding there. Also all my books on spirituality, religion and buddhism of which I have collected many. So, I still have a long way to go.

I was active in the SCA myself for many many years, in the Kingdom of the West.
I'm about to add a review to one of the "Common Man" series.
Another recent book you might like to take a look at, if you haven't already, is The Tudor Tailor by Ninya Mikhaila and Jane Malcolm-Davies. They also address lower-class costume for the 16th century.
Cheers!
