GroupsBest of British, Books that made me think, PinoyThing!

About my libraryI give away a pile of books at the end of each year, but have yet to break the habit of buying more than what I give away. (And it doesn't help---though I'm not complaining---that books are usually what friends give me for birthdays and Christmas.) This list represents about a third of my current collection, which I hope to trim judiciously, but whenever I start reviewing my shelves to weed out the ones I can bear to let go of, I often end up re-reading favorite passages instead. I may need help.

Noticed you liked The God of Small Things, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a grief-stricken family. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter)in case you'd like to read more about the novel before you commit:

Thanks,

With a catalogue as impressive as this, I'd be crazy not to camp on your doorstep the eve of your annual give-books-away-day. Tis a pity I live nowhere near Cebu.

Thank you for friending. :)
