C. Paschal Eze
About Me
It was about 7am (Central Standard Time) and I was still sleeping, having gone to bed only a few hours earlier. I had been busy writing my 9th book, "For Blacks (and others) Who Really Care: Smart ways to make your mark in Africa from afar," which one journalist described as my best book yet.
So, when the cell phone rang, it was like an alarm waking me up from my ephemeral sleep that was yearning for more. My body really needed more sleep to repair and rejuvenate itself for optimal productivity.
But I am the type that hardly goes back to sleep once something wakes me up. Did you just say "A cell phone should be nowhere near your bedroom then"? Good advice, my friend! I am very grateful.
Anyway, in about an hour, after my morning routine, I returned the call, not knowing what to expect. Thank God the caller was a fan who had watched me on a TV show in Detroit and decided to call me in Iowa to get my take on doing good, enviro-friendly business in African countries, especially those I had lived or traveled extensively in. We had such an interesting discussion and I learned some things from him too. He even gave me some helpful contacts.
But come to think of it, the good caller was just proving the point that people will go to any length to get the information they need (or want). Many existing and prospective entrepreneurs have called (sometimes at odd hours), emailed or met me face-to-face after my keynotes and workshops to exchange ideas on doing good business both here in America and in African countries like Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria. And that's surely a good thing, a happy thing for an author like me.
That said, I am sure if you have read my bio elsewhere, it would say something like "C. Paschal Eze is known to target CEOs, politicians, professionals and nonprofit executives as the go-to guy for game-changing ideas and strategies. He is a result-rendering rebranding strategist, certified training consultant and international speaker who has been inspiring, educating and energizing audiences in different parts of the world for years."
Well, my point is, I am very accessible, and I am solution-geared. Got it?
