About meI'm currently a doctoral student in the Department of History at UCLA, studying the New Testament and Christian origins. My mentor in the program is Scott Bartchy. I finished my M.Div. at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA in the summer of 2008. As an undergrad, I majored in biblical studies at Messiah College (class of '02). I'm a member of the Brethren in Christ denomination but currently attend a Mennonite church. I have a super wife who is a dietitian, has a Master of Public Health from UCLA, and is a Certified Lactation Educator. She's awesome. And we just became parents to our first son, Declan.

Nice to see you here, Pat. If you see anything you'd like to read in my library, just let me know and you can borrow it.
Pat,

Yes, I'm getting our library cataloged online (finally). I checked out my 'author cloud,' and E. Morris is right up there w/ John Grisham. If he weren't so humble, he could probably work these connections somehow...

:-)
