About meI live in Oxfordshire, not by choice, I work in publishing. That sounds glam, but merely means I get paid very little. I read a lot, have four cats, and write fan fiction. No, I'm not married, funny you should say that.

About my libraryDivided into fiction (A format), fiction (B format) - you can fit more on the shelves that way - fiction (trade paperback, hardback, other), children's fiction (lives in the bedroom), and non-fiction (assorted topics, shapes and sizes). Strict alphabetical order within these divisions, which means, among other things, that Elizabeth Gaskell is an uneasy bedfellow to some rather bad fantasies with Boris Vallejo covers that I read in the 70s when there wasn't much in the way of choice.

"Maundering tosh." Love it.
Oh my God! Just read your review of Dahlquist's Glass Eaters book, one I have never managed to finish, but one day! I nearly choked laughing at your last few statements! I'm still coughing! Where is Heimlich when you need him??
