Hi,

I ran across your name when it came up today on my "connection news" for adding Times Three. I was surprised to see the book, as it was only announced yesterday (I'm a sucker for Silverberg). It looks like we have a lot of interesting commonalities in our libraries. I also bookmarked your blog for future reading. I'm always happy to find new outlets for SF info.

Cheers,
~tim
I love the name of your interesting site. You are much deeper into science fiction than I ever could be, so I suppose I won't be hanging around over there very much. The thing that drew my attention was your review of The Lost Symbol -- seems the things you didn't like, with the exception of the blah ending, are the things I did like. I rather enjoyed the dropping of hints and then leaving them for later. Kept the ol' brain working. lol Formulaic, yes, but it works for me. In the case of Brown, I pay more attention to the symbol-solving antics than to the character interaction. Perhaps that's why the plot twist was such a surprise. (?) By the way, I do like science fiction, but it would probably be science fiction light.
Taking the time to answer my question and explain about your site is what did it.
Thanks. You seem to be a very patient person -- unusual today.

It's caveat, not caveot. Why should Dan Brown mention your site in one of his books? Simply curious. Thanks.
