About meI was born at an early age.
I've been using the name Polar City Blues for so long that I had forgotten it belonged to Katharine Kerr first. The book was on my desk when the internet opened; needing a name, and thinking that 'Mr. Stapler' was missing something, it was a natural choice.

About my libraryLibrary? Well there are some high points and low points loaded here, but by no means the whole set of shelves or the boxes in the roof. Or the pile on the windowsill, the bedside table or any other of the various emergency stashes about the place.

Yeah I'm down in Plymouth in the South-West.
My girlfriend couldn't remember a whole lot about it- it's strange the vivid thing she did remember was the last line of the book which you also mentioned in your original post.
On this page, the hedgehog and mouse were lying in hammocks with a forest in the background.

She also said each page was about a job that the hedgehog wanted to do. For example, one said "Today I'm going to be a postman". "Me too" said the Mouse. And so it carried on with other jobs (baker and fireman were in there).

It was a large square shaped book, with few pages, like many of those types of children's books.
Sorry to be so vague.

It was during her childhood, so I'm guessing it's late 80's very early 90's- definitely not after then.

Hi, no it wasn't me who asked before- I've only just started searching this weekend, and the closest I came was finding your question on here that you wrote a couple of years ago. It's definitely the same book as the one you were searching for though.

Hi there, did you ever find the book about the Mouse and the Hedgehog that you posted on here? As my girlfriend is desperate for that exact book that you were trying to find, and I can't find it anywhere!
Just wondered if you've had any luck?

Yes, it's pretty good. A nice wide selection of Latin texts -- even some bits of the Gospel of Luke. But I think that you need to have finished Familia Romana to be able to tackle it comfortably.

Why? You all done with Colloquia Personarum already?
