About meFestina lente! Executive Associate at the Open Society Foundations. Ph.D. candidate in Art History at the CUNY Graduate Center. Dissertation: "Apotheosis of the Public Realm: Civic Classicism in New York City's Architecture." Almost done.

B.Arch. from the University of Notre Dame, M.A. from the University of Virginia.

I managed the cataloging of the library of Hannah Arendt as part of LibraryThing's Legacy Libraries project.

I occasionally have books for sale at my Amazon.com storefront.

About my libraryThe majority of my books are in the fields of architectural and art history. Some of my favorite sub-collection subjects include Andrea Palladio, Michelangelo, Rome, Thomas Jefferson, Hannah Arendt, and Intellectual history.

The "Your library" collection consists only of printed books so that I know how many physical books are actually on my shelves (and floor). Being incorporeal things, PDFs and Kindle books are in their own collections separate from the physical books. Thus the "real" number of books in my library, from my perspective, is the "Your library" count.

I tagged inconsistently when I first entered much of the collection, but I'm now slowly fixing and systematizing them.

"Goethe & Palladio" rated 1/2 - that bad eh? Thanks for the heads up. Going by the title alone it was something I might have been interested in.
