Hi! Wow, I love American Girl too. I have three dolls- Julie, Addy, and Kit. Cool! So, tell me the books you like best from the series?!

Maidas9...
I got Nellie with her book and accessories. I love how they're creating best friend dolls- it makes the stories more complete. I just wish they didn't get rid of a lot of the summer and winter extras that they used to offer.
I'll list my dolls in period order- Kaya, Felicity, Elizabeth, Josefina, Kirsten, Addy, Samantha, Molly, two AG of Todays, Marisol, and Jess. Felicity is my favorite, and I generally prefer the older dolls historically. I used to save up for dolls and clothes whenever I could and I'd get maybe one for Christmas and one for my birthday. I think I want Nelly next (the oldest historically that I don't have). I used to make them furniture in woodworking, but I also made them little benches out of boxes that were open at the top. I'd put in some of my old clothes to make a cushion and cover it up with a piece of clothing or fabric to hide the clothes and cardboard. You could probably also make a bed that way.
I love the AG books, too! I started reading the Felicity books in fifth grade when I found them in the Scholastic Book club flyer, and I got hooked. I've collected twelve of the dolls in the past fourteen or so years, and they're definitely some of my favorite keepsakes- I think the quality is excellent. Julie was a surprise for me, because I grew up in the eighties, so she seems very recent. It's always good to see people who love the American Girls as much as I do.
