Sure – go for it! I'm flattered. I gave Brisingr a half more star for a couple of reasons. Mainly because the quality of the writing is just that much better. But also because there's always something happening - in Eldest you've got this great big boring bit where Eragon just swans up the Edda river.

yeah, it was superb. completely captivating. i've been recommending to anyone who will listen ever since. did you read her other novel? haven't gotten around to it yet.

alright hon, that's tom, he's esther's pup. he's a sweety who looks and behaves very much like josh and therefore made of win. simon is still as dopey as ever. he's getting on a bit now and has heart problems, been suffering from mild heart attacks which knock him unconscious. all a bit scary, not sure how long he'll last before one does some real damage. tis a shame, as you know i'm very fond of him. how are you?

Oh poor you! My job means I don't have to go back until monday but I have loads of work I should be doing preparing for the term ahead- however adding my books is much more interesting!

Heta, my job for tomorrow is add all my books- is it sad that I am looking forward to it? As for the Book Addicts Treasury it is still partially read, mostly because it wasn't what I was expecting so I got a little disappointed. But it is still a good book:) I will try and get it finished and lend it to you if you like?

I really enjoyed your thoughts on/review of Blindness. I've just finished the novel and your posting was thought-provoking.

Re: Seeing

I didn't like Seeing nearly as much as Blindness. The characters were in it but it isn't about them, per se. It's sort of boring and pointless. Not worth working your way through no punctuation : )
