oh and I co share my real library with my better half: LT's clfisha

In a burst of enthusiasm/madness I joined the Clarion Write-a-Thon:

http://clarionwriteathon.org/members/profile.php?writerid=615893

Clarion is a non-profit organisation that supports writers and the money goes to running courses etc. This year's writers in residence include Kelly Link & Cory Doctorow.

If you sponsor me $10 I promise to send you a copy of the resulting novel (that I'll only start during the Write-a-Thon, I expect it'll take me the rest of this year, and possibly more, to write!) and a free short story

You aren't late. It isn't September yet!
You're probably very busy being distracted from writing by your amazing award hauls, but you're up for September's RandomCAT. I can't wait to see what you'll throw at us!
I've started a thread in the 75ers group for a group read of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay. We're reading it this month!
First, I love the "about me" comment above, mostly harmless! Second, the comments on my 2013 about Un Lun Dun have me itching to read it now, but I will wait. I left a message for a few of you on m thread. :)

Ha finally added the books from my 10/10 to my library - now for the 11/11!!

some day I'll get round to adding all my books....
What did you think of John Dies at the End?
I know this is terribly tardy, but thank you so very much for the SantaThing books! I did not have a single one of them already, and I do love China Mieville, so I'm delighted that you took a chance and sent 'The City and The City'. Great choices all around. My apologies for being so late in saying so, but thanks for being my Santa!
You are very welcome! It was my pleasure. I had my fingers crossed, and I was hoping that you hadn't read either selection before. Have a very happy New Year!
