About me We're both 2006 University of Chicago alums with the first joint BA/MA degrees in Slavic Linguistics.

Andy is continuing in the program to get a joint PhD in Slavic and linguistics.

Quinn is working as the New Media Consultant at UofC and is getting an MS in Information Science.

Andy plays and composes music; Quinn is developing an Old Church Slavonic dictionary.

About my library Our collection is the product of four trips to Russia, trips to Macedonia, Serbia, and Bulgaria, a professor's retirement, another professor's periodic house-cleaning, and two people's general lifelong habit of acquiring books.

In 2006, we won the Brooker book-collecting prize for our books on the languages of the former USSR; the resulting prize money went to more books.

We acquired 444 books in 2007.
