About meWe're both 2006 University of Chicago alums with the first joint BA/MA degrees in Slavic Linguistics.
Andy is continuing in the program to get a joint PhD in Slavic and linguistics. He plays and composes music in his free time.
Quinn has an MS in Library and Information Science. She's a student wrangler in the Academic Technologies central IT department at the University of Chicago by day, and a Slavist by night. Quinn has upwards of 35,000 photos on Flickr.
About my libraryOur collection is the product of four trips to Russia, trips to Macedonia, Serbia, and Bulgaria, a professor's retirement, another professor's periodic house-cleaning, and two people's general lifelong habit of acquiring books.
In 2006, we won the Brooker book-collecting prize for our books on the languages of the former USSR; the resulting prize money went to more books.
