About meThe Spiritual Care Department of the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Nepean (Ottawa) Ontario.

About my libraryAll registered Spiritual Care personnel, patients, families and staff are welcome to borrow material from our department library. Our books are colour coded; shown as a letter preceding the Dewey number in the catalogue. (R-red, B-blue, G-green, and Y-yellow) Red are reference books kept in the open office. Blue are professional level and patient care and Green are perinatal loss and associated subjects. B & G are kept in the chaplain's offices and arrangements must be made in advance to borrow them. Yellow are kept in the open office bookcases and are available to borrow at any time.

Articles are also stored in our library and listed in our catalogue. Their titles are preceded by "ZZ" and the binder containing the specific article is shown in the photo as well as listed as the 1st Tag. Please DO NOT borrow articles. Read them on-site or request a copy.

When borrowing a book, please complete a library loan form (found in the bookcase in the open office) and leave it in the secretary's wall file.
