Noticed you liked The Bluest Eye, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also southern and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Thanks,

I'm smiling b/c my mom is actually the one who loaned me a couple of Jennifer Cruisie's! LOL

Also, love, love, love Diana Gabaldon! I have read the 1st four 3 times and the last two once or twice. I, too, like Breath better than Fiery Cross, but I would eat up anything she wrote.

I still cried like a baby the third time I read about Jamie sending Claire back through the stones the first time!

(And I only read your first two reviews.) ;)
Having just listened to the audio verions of Homecoming and Dicey's Song---I was delighted with both of them. And yes, because they are YA, it's hard to explain them unless you experience them. Looks like you agree. Cynthia Voigt is quite special.
I was glancing through your reviews. I completely agree with your take on The Jane Austen Book Club.
Rachel--

This is Randy from Muley's World. Your blog post on LibraryThing convinced me to join up today. Wow! What fun. I can tell this will be sapping lots of my scarce free time. I've put you on my "watch list." Thanks again for the tip.
good to see your dancing pixels here. Interesting library, too.
