Noticed you liked Fight Club, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also about a disturbed bunch of kids and a bit dark :) I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit.

Re: Owl Babies

Yeah, it's so cute! It came up on my recommendations list and I'd just used it in a recent storytime again so I decided to add it. I love the littlest one. :)
Thought I should get in on the act.
Hello. Thanks for responding to my first 50 Book Challenge post. You're right ... we do share similar interests in books. I've added you to my "interesting libraries" list. Happy New Year!!

Hi Elizabeth, I was hoping you were here!
I've definitely bitten off more than I can chew, but I'm sure I'll get at least enough read to be a proper challenge participant. And the rest can stay on the endless TBR list. It sure was a great way to get new book suggestions. I'm looking forward to The Other Boleyn Girl, I have it on hold (trying to beat the rush before the movie comes out) - I enjoyed her Queen's Fool.
Hi there - I clicked to see who else was using the Something About Me Challenge tag and there you were! I can't believe I picked so many books, I think I'm going to regret it. I loved Evening Class (as you'll see from the blog) - thanks for picking it!
Hi, Elizabeth: So nice to meet you over the challenges and LT! I will definitely check out the Southern Writers challenge. I am also intrigued by the Book Awards Challenge - and I bet the two can cross over. Are you on LiveJournal too? I think I've seen your name on Laura0218's posts....Keep in touch! =) Jill
Elizabeth,
I'm so glad there's someone else out there who is OCD about covers!
As for the half-star ratings, the only way I have found is to edit the book (click on the pencil) and you can select a rating from a drop-down list.
Enjoy ...
Laura
Hi again, yeah, the interactive part is pretty fun too!

You asked what "watch" means. It is just a way of having other people's libraries show up on your profile so you can easily link to them, or to the library owner's profile. It doesn't tell you when the person has updated their library, nor do they know that you have put them on your watch list.

I have some of our challenge friends on my watch list as well as links to libraries like "newyorktimesnotable" (created by Wendy) and "Booker_Winners".
Welcome to LibraryThing! I thought you might sign up after the discussion on "A Novel Challenge"! I'm impressed you have catalogued 100 books so far. I'm adding your library to my watch list now.

Check out my profile for the discussion groups I'm involved in. I think you'd enjoy this aspect of LT also.
