About meOur son Rory is two years old and has been read to since before he was born. He is extremely enthusiastic about books, which I encourage wholeheartedly as a librarian, teacher and book addict! I love reading children's and YA literature too, and there are so many fantastic authors and books I'm looking forward to introducing him to.

About my libraryThis library shows the books that Rory is enjoying, and ones I'm looking forward to sharing with him as he grows.

I'm going to read to him:
Toys go out: Being the adventures of a knowledgeable Stingray, a toughy little Buffalo, and someone called Plastic;
Winnie-the-Pooh;
The Jamie and Angus stories;
Dogbird;
Freckle juice;
The Pain and the Great One;
The lion, the Witch and the wardrobe;
The miraculous adventures of Edward Tulane;
The tale of Despereaux: Being the story of a mouse, a princess, some soup and a spool of thread;
Little Wolf's book of badness;
Hatchet;
Maniac Magee;
Wonder Kid meets the evil lunch snatcher;
Dear God, help!!!! Love, Earl;
Under the mountain;
2MUCH4U;
Two weeks with the Queen;
The Polar Express;
Because of Winn-Dixie;
Bottersnikes and Gumbles.

P.S. Love your little green monster! Many of my absolute favorite children's books aren't in my library because I don't own them. I'm going to have to think about this!
I was just reading the "Children's Literature" thread and noticed that you had more than one account to keep your collections separate. I had 2 accounts too, because I didn't want people to have to wade through all my children's books when checking to see what was in my library, but with the new collections feature I recently merged them. I did it myself by going to bonniebooks2 (my children's books account) and adding each one to my bonniebooks account--very time-consuming! But at least now I only have one account which is a whole lot more convenient for me (no signing in and out of accounts). I've heard, though, that LT will merge the two of them for you if you ask. Bonnie

P.S. What are you doing about children's books you've read, but don't own? That would quickly more than double that library if I added every book I ever read to my children and/or my students.
Hehe! Boynton rulz!
