About meI'm a writer and I love languages and linguistics. I'm a student at the University of Redlands in the Johnston Center.

My loves aside from books include the Colorado Avalanche, fencing, Finnish, tarot, and Latin (and the Latin-based languages).

About my libraryI read mostly fantasy and sci-fi and I have a To Be Read list nine pages long on my computer, which happens because I go to bookstores of all sorts and can't bring myself to leave without getting a book [or three]. My books are mainly mass-market paperbacks with a few trade and hardcovers because the mass-market ones are so much cheaper and I'm usually nice to my books—I rarely break the spine because I'm neurotic. When given a system to do so, I rate everything, so anything that remains unrated hasn't been read yet. I'm not usually very picky when it comes to books—as long as it's written passably well and entertaining, I tend to like it [though I'm slightly more biased toward sci-fi and fantasy]. These are all also only the books that I own—I use other applications for what I want to read and don't own and things like that.
