The love of wilderness is more than a hunger for what
is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty
to the earth, the earth which bore us and sustains us, the only
paradise we shall ever know, the only paradise we ever need,
if only we had the eyes to see ... No, wilderness is not a luxury
but a necessity of the human spirit, as vital to our lives
as water and good bread.

Is the reason I am listed first on the "weighted" members with randomarbitrary's books because I actually have your books?
Jules - Now that you've moved, are you cataloging your books as you unpack? That would add approximately 200 thousand to your list!
That's a cute dog! Is he/she/it a lab?
the bad thing about children moving out? They take a lot of books.
the good thing about children moving out? They take a lot of books.
the starbucks coffee cookbook - anything interesting?
need the paperweight
It might be your James Herriot - I will track it down and it will eventually make its way back to you. Maybe you should come get it......
Oh, I hope you still have the Partridge Family books. I’m sure they are bad, but they are likely bad in a funny way.
yeah, but the problem with the fridge magnets is they came in a set, with a limited number of each letter. and they always did the wrong amounts so you ran out of M's or something mid-word.

clearly you were following my good example! um.
i was in a toy store today & definitely saw individual wooden letters... some plain, some with wheels...
Thanks! I was surprised no one else had used "Kleenex" as a tag. I felt "tear-jerker" gave to much away and I didn't want to type that much :) Feel free, of course, to use it!

Your house must be overflowing with books! Mine sometimes feels like it and I only have about 325.
Thanks for taking a look at my library. Your's is amazing!
I know that, when I read the book, Fred just came as such a shock to me that I hardly had a chance to realize what ahd happened -- likewise Lupin and Tonks.

I also want to reread the book, but I almost can't bring myself to go through all of that emotion again. I keep thinking, "Not quite yet. . . soon."
Hi, Julie! Thanks for being my LibraryThing friend. You have some great books on your shelf. Have a fun week!

Dear chick-lit reader,

I’m a belgian university student that loves chick-lit. Would you like to help me with my thesis and write to me why you (personally) like reading chick-lit? What is it about chick-lit that appeals to you? What are your favourite books and why? Your help would mean a lot to me!

Best wishes,

get busy on entering those titles!
Dang! Do you think Dad has accidentally created several accounts? He can type faster than putting just 15 books in !! That's not even one shelf in one room!
so embarassing to have the reagan book .... someone left it on my porch anonymously, yeah, that's it.
If you want them, come and get them!
