About my libraryi like my librarything to be that library that i bring with me, those books that i have read and largely integrated into my experience (fiction) or functional memory (non-fiction). the purpose of my reading isn't usually to escape, though that may occur, but to experience. naturally i'm pulled towards the classics that have withstood the test of time, but fiction isn't my primary concern. knowledge is definitely empowering and that is usually what i seek. not just science or history but anything in the world that i don't know about (yet). also books on self-improvement. maybe not things like "How to Make Friends and Influence People," though that was nice, more like exercising memory, creativity, etc.
