About meI've been an avid reader all my life although I had to take a little break from reading novels (except for vacations) while my kids were young. So now I'm playing catch-up on all the good books I missed during that time.

About my libraryMy library shows a mix between books I have read and books I own.

Thanks for accepting my friend invitation...I want to check out your other books since we had so many in common.

Keep in touch.
Hi:

Thanks for accepting the friendship invitation.

We have a lot of books in common. :)
Cute mouse on your profile photo.
Noticed you liked Ellen Foster, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it's also a southern story about a disturbed young girl (and also a bit dark). I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more before you commit:

Hi, How are you?Sorry for the late reply
Hi

I am trying to join the Early Reviewers club. I belong to Early Reviewers but it doesn't show on my Groups section, as it does on yours. Any hints?
Hi readingrat we share 157 books
Hi,

LibraryThing contacted me and indicated you were one of the winners of the Early Reviewer Giveaway. Please send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you a copy of the e-book.

Thanks for entering the giveaway,

Chris
Thank you for adding my request with your reader-friends. I have Larry Brown's FAY in the book case behind me. I should take out FAY and add it to my reading list. I like Mr. Brown's other books, though this was a different direction he took. Thanks for the reminder on FAY.

Happy reading,

Ed Lynskey
Sorry, Elaine,. I've already sent The 13th Reality to new home.

Carrie
"Sweetsmoke" is all yours. Send me a private message with your mailing address and I'll send it media mail.

Thank you for the long response....very informative!! I just signed up for BookReporter and Anobii. My profile name on those sites is ReadingQueen 12/17. I'm trying to change my LT profile name to that as well but it won't let me! In any case, thanks again for the info. I'm definitely going to be taking some reading suggestions from you library. :)
Hello!
I noticed you have a lot of books in your library I'd like to eventually read so I added you to my "interesting" libraries. I also noticed a couple other posts below mentioning other sites such as BookReporter and Shelfari. Are you members of all of these sites. Which one is your favorite?
Just wanted to let you know that The Guardians arrived a couple of days ago. Thanks, and I'll be sure to pass it on as soon as I'm done.
you have a great library! we share almost 500 books!
I love your library!
I especially like that you've rated your reads...I'm going to give a few a shot.
Heather
I lent the extra copies to my sister, but when she returns them, I'd be happy to send Winter's Bones to you.

Elaine I got the book sent off so you should be getting it in the mail proably on Friday.
Kathy
Hmmm...I don't see my message. Hope it was posted!
I think it is Tracee who turned me on to anobii.com. And yes, I am still an active member at ChainReading. What I do when I have completed a review is post to all of those places, including BookReporter.com and Amazon.com. Do you ever enter the BookReporter's raffles? Before I got into book reviewing, I did. Within like four months, I'd won over ten books. Now I don't have the time, but I do enter their Word of Mouth raffles. A month or so ago, I won three books that way!
I am finding more Shelfari members here, at Good Reads, and www.anobii.com. :)
It's so nice to see you here too! :)
