About meI wish I had more time to read novels. One day I will buy a house with a room I can make into a library and get built-in wall-to-wall shelves installed. Sigh.

About my library"And the case even of private libraries is becoming, nay, has become, very serious for all who are possessed by the inexorable spirit of collection, but whose ardor is perplexed and qualified, or even baffled, by considerations springing from the balance-sheet."
-- William Ewart Gladstone, from On Books and the Housing of Them

This is the stuff I own (except for the things tagged "Kicked to the curb"). Mostly I'm too lazy to rate it, but if it were terrible I'd have gotten rid of it. Five (5) stars means I think everyone should read it, and support the authors (if alive) because those books are just so good. Any rating other than 5 stars should be considered neither reliable nor valid; I make them up without thinking too hard about them. I have a handful of ebooks that aren't on here, but not many.

My wish list has about 100 books on it (not included here on LT).

Thanks for being so kind to that young woman in the Lesbian Bookworms group. It looks as if her profile is gone-- hopefully that other poster didn't scare her off.

Get your library room built yet? I turned a small, windowless room upstairs into built-in, floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall bookshelves. They're overflowing now, of course. Someday I'll post pictures for all to drool upon.

By the way, your tag "urchins with animals" made me laugh.

Best wishes,
Annemarie
I love your comment about chewing through the restraints!

Original, or a quote?

Either way, I got a chuckle out of it, thanks! :)
Good idea! I'll check into it.
Evil temptress!
You are totally right. I have been wasting my time on the internets pretending to work. I should glory in the romantic suspense, the fantasy, the novel.
Win!
Hee, it's not a screw in the top of my head! It's an S... I do have a version without the S on; I should possibly be using that one. But then your wonderful comment about screws wouldn't make any sense at all so I will just have to leave it as is :-)
It has begun.
Oh, I thought I hit "reply" so it would comment on your profile! What did this one do?

I got my cuecat today so I'm going to be busily scanning this evening. Yay!
