About meI'm just a Kansas nerd girl who loves to read.

I like to read a lot of fantasy, and have ever since I was a kid. However, I will read just about anything. My favorite authors to date are Neil Gaiman, Thomas Harris, and most recently Jim Butcher.

Sadly, college life leaves me little time to read and even less money to purchase books.

I am currently working my way through The Mooncalf Murders and The Kicker of St. John's Wood.

About my libraryMy library contains a greatly amount of fantasy novels because they are what sparked my interest in reading (the covers are just so much more interesting). Within that last six years I have discovered a love for comic books and am slowly amassing them. Around the same time I started to like comics I also started reading horror novels and now it is one of my favorite genres (with Silence of the Lambs as the current top favorite). I also have quite a few young adult books in my collection. This is partly because of my summer job, but it's also because I still enjoy the stories.

Hi,

LibraryThing contacted me and indicated you were one of the winners of the Early Reviewer Giveaway. Please send me your e-mail address (mine is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you a copy of the e-book.

Thanks for entering the giveaway,

Chris
Having checked your LJ, I see it was second choice books (darn out-of-print books). Anyway, I also recommend Faces Under Water and Saint Fire by Tanith Lee--they're kind of lyrical dark fantasy set in an alternate Europe (Faces is in altVenice; I think Saint Fire is set in altFrance). Also most of Guy Gavriel Kay's historical fantasy novels--I especially like The Lions of Al-Rassan, the Saratine Mosaic duology, and The Last Light of the Sun.
Hope you received your Santathing books okay. I'm not sure LibraryThing was able to order my first choices for you, so I might have some other recommendations if you're curious.
