Hi again! Yeah I saw that you gave Heath's new book four stars; I loved the preceding book, SURRENDER TO THE DEVIL, and so was very excited about this book coming out. I also bought Jenna Petersen's new book, WHAT THE DUKE DESIRES, since I enjoyed HER NOTORIOUS VISCOUNT (the first book I've read by Petersen). They all came out on the same day, but I started with Enoch's since she is almost always a hit with me ... I really don't know what happened here! Before this book the lowest rating I'd given any of her books was four stars!

LibraryThing says we share 285 books in our library, so I'm glad I've found another historical romance junkie that I can hash over books with :-). Let me know of any other good reads you find (or bad ones to avoid!).
I read your review for THE CARE AND TAMING OF A ROGUE and could not agree more! I was also relieved to see I wasn't the only one that felt the whole Adventurers Club aspect was extremely contrived; don't really understand the point of the club / what it does and I myself was wondering as I read, "maybe this is a set-up for a series?" - which I then realized it was. The Club has a bunch of elderly members, but I'm guessing they will *not* be heroes in any upcoming books, lol. Enoch is normally a favorite of mine, but this book was a real disappointment.
Thank you, glad you liked the review. You have to try the Outlander books! I'm simply head over heels about them, the first is my favorite, but they're all good - but not for the faint of heart! I have to say, they changed me, I've never been the same since I read them!
