I just wanted to tell you that I loved The Demon Under the Microscope. It brought to life a time when the people were at risk from things we take for granted. It was particularly interesting to me because my mother was one of the people sulfa was first used on in the western U.S. She was a child dying of pneumonia, and the doctors told her parents that since she was dead anyway they might as well try it.

Thank you for writing such an engaging and fascinating book. (And yes, I really will get around to buying my own copy . . .)
