About meI am a teacher-librarian at a K-5 school. I did not like to read when I was in school many years ago. I became an elementary school teacher, got married, had three wonderful children and accepted a part-time librarian position in my child's school. I had already taken all the librarianship classes as an undergrad and had enough credits to become certified. However, my love for the library and this position led to me getting my MLS. Now I read because I want to, not because I have to. (I still am a reluctant reader. Thick books scare me!)
