About meI'm an average fellow with a great family. My wife is Elizabeth; my sons are Breck (18) and Jon (17). We have a long-haired Chihuahua (Micky) and a Black Lab mix (Frida). I have a diploma in engineering drafting technology and a BA in Bible/theology. I work as an engineering drafter.

About my libraryMy little library consists mostly of reference books relating to the Bible and Christian theology and general history. I also have a small collection of what I consider to be real classics, particularly Russian classics like War and Peace and Crime and Punishment. Plus, I have a sampling of fantasy/sword and sorcery books.

Hi only just read your message, sorry! If you've done a BA in theol then you've done a lot more formal theology than me. The EMW course is excellent but is really a basic grounding in theology over 4 years as a mainly correspondence course with 2 weeks residential lectures a year. I guess my main recommendations (commentaries aside) would be JC Ryle - Holiness. Really hit me for six when I read it! Every blessing. Matt
thanks for your comment!
Most of them could be recommended but, feel free to take a tour and if you see any that you need more detail about then let me know.
I haven't yet, but it is on deck because I'm teaching a Sunday school class on origins for the next several weeks. I'll let you know. Grace and Peace to You.
Yeah, I am the same i like to read both side of the issue. I have a number liberal writings i have read especialy some of the guys from the Jesus Seminar. I buy my book from a number places. I buy a lot a books at half-price books. Especialy the clearance aisle. Also at Mardel always go a lot of deals. Hmm also at Dallas Theological Seminary bookstore there is like one copy of everything in that place. Then of couse Amazon. I get alot of freebooks to from different places to.
Thanks for the posted message. Yeah i do see we share some books. Some good ones to. You got good taste lol. I see some ar ein apologetics and doctrine and others. A mixture of conservative and liberal writers. I enjoy reading both side of the fences to see the mindset on the other side. You ever participate in any of the groups messaging. I just joined this site about two months ago i like it. God bless.
