About me Long time reader; once a girl, wife, mother, grandmother. Now retired medical laboratorian--mostly microbiology. Interested in history, politics, science, fiction, and about everything else.
About my library Acquired gradually. Many books bought at library sales, definitely not "Collectable" stuff. Just because I wanted to know about a person, or a thing, or a place. A few very special books to treasure. Some favorite authors, and lately many expose type books on politics. Started cataloging all the books about 5 years ago using BookCase. Great little program, fast--but LibraryThing is a wonder! Still have about 500 to get into LT.
