About meAs a rabid book collector, and also, as it appears to be, rather a "youngin" among the LT crowd (at 18, I find myself slightly daunted by those out there who exceed my own pitiful library by the thousands) I rather look up to those users of this site whose library numbers I can only one day hope to duplicate. I have rather a penchant for all that is written, which is somewhat redundant to post on LT. I have a golden retrevier, Darcy, whom accompanies me on my grandest of reading adventures. I don't know where'd I be in this reading life of mine without the (begrudging) consent of my parents, friends, and siblings, or without the strong support offered by the daily cup of Chai tea I just can't seem to live without.

About my libraryMy library consists of mainly new and classical fiction, ranging from the literarily tawdry (Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife) to the utterly necessary (Jane Eyre). My non-fiction collection is comprised mainly of craft books and political satire (read:: John Stweart). While still in its obvious developemental stages, heading out to college within the year fills me with hope of acquiring books to fill my axiously awaiting shelves.

The tags should be fairly self-explanatory, but in case there is any confusion, the "read" tag signifies books in my library that I have read, where as the "to be read" tag signifies books in my library that I have yet to read yet. But this is not a wishlist - if it's not physically in my library somwhere, it's not on this list.
