About meBeing an obsessive writer myself, I read all the time - anything I can get my hands on.

If you get the chances, please check out my website and blog... like you really need anything else to read!

My Website.

My Blog.

About my library"We read to know we are not alone," said CS Lewis, and I couldn't agree more. Throughout my life, books have always helped me feel a little less lonely, a little less strange, a little more connected. From classic literature to graphic novels to mind-expanding nonfiction, from Stephen King to Michio Kaku to Bill Bryson to Simon Armitage to Grant Morrison to Haruki Murakami to Chuck Palahniuk to Emily Bronte to Raymond Chandler... and on, and on, and on. Who wants to be pigeon-holed?

Your comics collections are nice!!!
Hi, Rol your blog is fine and you have tagged excellent Cartoons...
Hi,

Was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here as well as a few other book-related sites. Saw you liked The Wasp Factory, and I thought you might like my novel since it's also about a disturbed adolescent and a bit dark. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like. Let me know if you're interested. Here's a link to a summary in case you're interested:

Hi, I just joined this site. Are you a writer too?
Hey Rol--

I notice you've added Mr. Phillips (and rated it 4 stars--yay!). I truly loved that book--sad, funny, so touching. Makes me want to go back and reread. I haven't loved any of his others quite so much, but he's still a writer I look for.

Have you read Nick Harkaway's The Gone-Away World yet? Seems like it would be right up your alley, interesting, well-written post-apocalyptic romp...
Frankly, Rolbert, I'm surprised I share as many as 5 books with you. I'd've never seen you as the type to have the Elmsley poison book.
Hey--Nice library. Oh--I posted a comment on your website. Gotta say--you're good. Keep it up!
