Hi,

Thank you for selecting such great books for me for SantaThing. I really like your choices and hope to read them soon (if my studies allow me enough time).

kind regards
Hi! I was your SantaThing recipient (eventually). Sorry for the lateness of the thank-you note. Part of it was the apocalpyse - I didn't get my books until mid-February, but some of it is just me forgetting to send this.

Thank you so much for the books! I'm really looking forward to reading them. I've been meaning to check out David Gemmell for a while now, but every time I go to the bookstore something else ends up catching my eye. My brother was amused by Tad Williams' Otherland being Volume One, but I figure if I can survive Wheel of Time, I should have no problem, right?

Once again, thanks so much for these books and for the additional suggestions in the SantaThing thread!
Thank you for the help with strike throughs!! MT
Was reading the readathon thread where you mentioned you were looking for Hellburner. CJ Cherryh has very recently made this available as an ebook on her CLosed Circle website. I think there's a link from her author page. (Just in case LT doesn't make too many buying books too easy ;-) )

Thanks for being my Secret Santa - I look forward to reading your choices. I always thought I should read more Cherryh - I've only read the chronicles of Morgaine. Also I seem to recall reading Green Rider when it came out - all those years ago - where does the time go:) so it will be nice to revisit that world. Never read any Patricia Briggs but I think I must have been missing out on something good as unfortunately my local libraries don't have any of her books! (Admitting to panicking at receiving something that came up as second in a series when I entered it on LT but fortunately the one you chose sounds like it works as a standalone!)

Hope you had a great Christmas and that your Secret Santa brought you as much joy!

Merry Christmas- glad the books arrived safely! I made those picks because I myself enjoyed the books, so I certainly hope you and your soon-to-be new addition do as well.

Loved [The Android's Dream]--it was such fun to read!
