About meI'm a reader since my early childhood. Unfortunately, day-to-day life doesn't allow me to read as much as I want anymore, but being a reader is still what defines me best.

Other hobbies include : sewing, running and dancing. I have an unreasonable weakness for clothes, chocolate and cookies.

About my libraryDespite all the things above, my favourite genre is not chicklit, although I've been known to bury myself in a fluffy girly novel once or twice a year. I was a big SF reader some years ago, and I think the interest about speculation is still there. I also like thrillers and whodunnit, from cozy to hard-boiled, provided it has a decent plot.

But the biggest part of my reading is still mainstream litterature, mostly english-speaking, although I'd like to expand my horizon.

As a rule, I can't stand :
- horror
- gratuitous explicit content
- silliness
- nauseatingly warm fuzzies
- know-it-all heroes
- obviously taking the reader for an idiot.

Oh, and I like to buy old books about all things "housewifely" (sewing, cooking manuals from the '40s or '50s, etc ...). I only have a few of them yet, but I love them !

Only a small part of my books is registered here yet (time, time !), but I plan to register them all in the months to come. I also register books borrowed from the library, in order to keep track of my readings.

WARNING : As you may have guessed, English is not my mothertongue. So please excuse me for any mistakes or awkwardness I may commit. And don't hesitate to point them to me.
