About meI am forty-ish, married with two wonderful teenagers. Six years ago our family left civilization and moved to an island. We built our own home; the finishing touches are not quite finished but the books are finally unpacked and on the shelves -- I couldn't be happier.
I love people, the outdoors, reading, the internet, and tennis. Other hobbies include my mini farm with a veggie garden & chickens, and preparing my kids for college.

About my libraryI enjoy reading history, historically-based fiction, science, stories about adventurous women, literary classics, art history, biographies about creative, clever, cunning, ingenious people and I throw in a little romantic novels now and then.
I'm just starting to put in my library.

Hi Rosemeria! I came across your post in the Historical Fiction group and you mentioned living on Kaua'i. So I had to stop by and say hello to a fellow Kauaian! The building of your own home sounds very satisfying. May I ask what side of the island you live on? I live on the West Side, and am enjoying the last bit of (relatively) cool weather before summer hits :)
