Hi! This book was in my mother-in-law's attic and I took it and other books when we moved her to a retirement community. The book has her name in it (by an adult) and some pencil markings in it that look like a child made them. My mother-in-law was born in 1930 and probably got this book new in 1935. The back board is still faintly pink but the front and spine are faded. Don't know anything about the book or its author. Regards, Karenmarie
