About meI am a high school Latin teacher (as you can tell by the high number of Classics-related books in my library). I love sports and the outdoors (the picture is of me hiking near the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC/VA). I am a huge Braves fan, and I like to play tennis, go hiking and play disc golf whenever I can get away from Albany, and travel (there is so much I want to see). I graduated from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA, and I am currently working on a Master's Degree in Latin during the summers at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.
Recently read:
-Roman Blood-Saylor
-The Dream of Scipio-Pears
-The Enchantress of Florence-Rushdie
Currently Reading:
-The Christmas Carol-Dickens
-Liberty and Freedom-Fischer
About my libraryI own many, but not all of the books listed. I tend not to get very far into books I don't like, so that may help explain why so many are rated highly. (If it's a 5, I loved it--I might add a "favorite" tag to specify further). I like to read books with a good plot that make me think; I don't read books just because they are supposed to be "good literature." I'm abnormally picky (wish I weren't quite so). Of course, I have a decent nonfiction section containing various Latin and history books.
