Non-fiction

5 = essential of its type or for its subject

4 = very good / useful / interesting

3 = an acceptable specimen, but defective perhaps in style, scope, or otherwise

2 = really flawed, perhaps a former 3 that has been superseded

1 = just a horror of a thing, own this only because you must have a complete collection or to keep it out of libraries

Fiction

5 = Anyone who can read should read this

4 = Excellent of its type

3 = A good read

2 = Some redeeming quality, perhaps in a well-researched setting, technological idea, or some historical value to the work itself

1 = Oh dear, no.

About my librarySadly I am not very far along in loading things in here. I've yet to start on the main shelves. Thus, the books I have here now are not really representative of the whole collection.

When the actual books are done, I also plan to load in books I have only in ebook form.
